Landscape installation
Landscape installation is the full soft-landscape package: the ground is graded, irrigation goes in, trees and plants are set, and rock, turf or sod finish the surface, with lighting to show it off at night.
It is the right service for a bare lot behind a new home, or for an older yard that needs to be cleared and started again. One crew does every part in the right order, so each trade is not working around the last.

What we install
New-construction yards
Turning the dirt lot that comes with a new home into a finished front and back yard.
Yard renovations
Clearing tired planting, old rock and failed irrigation and installing a new landscape in its place.
Desert landscapes
Low-water yards built from rock, boulders and desert-adapted trees, shrubs and cacti.
Lawn and garden yards
Yards with a real or synthetic lawn, planting beds and shade trees.
Materials and design
- What is under the surface
- Grading and irrigation are invisible when the job is done and decide how well everything above them performs.
- Balance of materials
- The mix of rock, plants and lawn sets the look of the yard, its water use and how much care it needs.
- Room to add later
- Sleeves under paths and spare irrigation capacity make it simple to add a patio, pergola or more planting in future.
Built for Arizona
- The ground is shaped so monsoon rain drains away from the house.
- Every irrigation line is Schedule 40 PVC, which holds up in hot desert soil.
- Desert-adapted plants and rock keep water use and upkeep low through summer.
- Front-yard plans are made with typical HOA landscape rules in mind.

How is this different from a backyard remodel?
Landscape installation covers the planting side of a yard: grading, irrigation, plants, rock and lawn. A backyard remodel adds the built parts as well, such as pavers, pergolas and outdoor kitchens.
My builder left a bare dirt yard. Where do I start?
With a plan for the whole yard, even if you build it in stages. Irrigation and grading come first, so later work does not disturb them.
Can you keep some of my existing plants or trees?
Usually, yes. Healthy, well-placed trees and plants are worth keeping, and the new layout and irrigation are designed around them.
